Go to uni – get a useless degree.
Need money – work a dead end job.
Fall in love – get dumped.
Life was stagnating for our young narrator, until his friend gave him a seemingly easy task: Get on a plane to Melbourne, pick up his car, and drive it back home to Adelaide.
While driving across the country along the Great Ocean Road, he is forced into unlikely situations, surreal moments, and an encounter with the aforementioned bunyip.
The future is unwritten, reality a scam, and the more things change, the more they stay the same. But really, it’s never about the message: only the journey to the end that reveals who you really are.
